With H&S Games, a mobile application will be developed (app) with serious games about health and safety on site. This European Project brings together training, fun and innovation. Trough mobile devices –smartphone or tablet-, workers in the sector, or any interested citizen, could acquire in a funny and easy way, very useful basic skills about health and safety.

This is an essential matter in construction, and to assume this knowledge, the use of mini-games allows an easier access to workers in the sector. Hence the Project objective’s to create an easy and intuitive tool, with procedures that shows how to work safely.

A mobile application, open and extensive, for a cross-border usage

Harmony of the different focus and methods will make it feasible to make this games appropriate for a cross-border usage, with the aim to extend it to other European countries where this skills are equally relevant for a wider group of workers. Moreover, the App will be available in all languages of the consortium, but Dutch. This fact will benefit, also, migrant integration, who could gain specific language skills.

The app tries to inform differently , through free accessible contents, encouraging safe attitudes and behaviours in work environment at the same time encouraging worker’s involvement in risk prevention in the workplace. And, last but not least, it promotes a greater consistency between labour world and training, in addition to the “collateral” acquisition of reading, digital and even languages skills.
